HGG Film Festival

Hunter Sustainability Project (HSP), in partnership with The Green Initiative Fund, presents the Hunter Goes Green Film Festival.  Running alongside Hunter Goes Green Week 2014, this free event offers a themed evening of entertainment every night from April 28 to May 2.  A feature length movie will be screened each evening, accompanied by previews and microdocumentaries that reflect the environmental theme of the day.  A free buffet will be served and guest speakers will discuss their involvement with environmental activism, contextualizing the selected films to a NYC student perspective.  On the closing night, the winners of the ‘Hunter Goes Olive’ environmentally themed poetry competition will perform their works.
